Modest luxury linen, Montreal, 2026
Maison HAYAR
A store audit that found the real problem, then a premium redesign of the Shopify store built on the brand's own photography.

The brief
Maison HAYAR sells modest luxury linen sets and scarves from Montreal. The store had launched, the product was good and buyers were coming back, but sales had stopped. They asked why.

What I made
A full audit of 90 days of Shopify data: traffic sources, funnel, devices, countries. It showed the product was fine and the traffic had simply stopped after one Instagram moment, with nothing in place to bring anyone back. Then a redesign of the Shopify store: a near-white canvas, the brand's own photography, a cutout product showcase and product pages rebuilt around the fabric. Plus ad scripts and storyboards for the linen set, ready for the first paid campaign.

Why it's built this way
For a $175 linen set from a young brand, the site has to feel as considered as the fabric. No accent colour, no clutter: the photography carries it. And because the audit showed three visitors in four on a phone, everything was built on a phone first.
